Will eat most meaty and plant-based foods. May eat hair algae and cyanobacteria.

Note: Hermit Crabs will harm snails for their shells if inadequate amounts/varieties are present in the tank. It is not recommended to house hermits with their preferred species of live snails, however offering the empty shells of such species is ideal.
