Affordable Chloramine removal – The Carbon Plus chloramine filter cartridge features high-capacity reduction of chloramines. Designed to fit standard water filtration units that use 10” x 2.5” cartridges, each cartridge treats 3,000 gallons of water @ 0.5 GPM flow rate, 3 ppm chloramine with a greater than 98% reduction.

Chloramine and Chlorine – In addition to removing chloramines, the Carbon Plus cartridge is rated to treat 30,000 gallons of water @ 0.5 GPM flow rate, 2 ppm chlorine. Using a cartridge that removes both chloramines and chlorine ensures proper water conditioning.

Simple and effective – The carbon block design helps reduce sediment and carbon fines found in many granular cartridges. The half-micron pore size is an ideal pre-filter for many water systems including reverse osmosis and deionization systems.

Direct Replacement for Standard Carbon – It is estimated that 10% of the US drinking water supply is now treated with chloramines, which will destroy a RO membrane if not removed prior to the water reaching the membrane. Use the Carbon Plus cartridge in place of your existing carbon cartridge to protect your RO membrane.
