Corals placed near or on the sand bed may be at risk for being moved or shot at by the shrimp, especially if placed within the vicinity of it's burrow. Should not harm corals placed higher than the sand bed.

Invertebrates are generally only at risk if they explore too close to the burrow, however the shrimp may use small snails (live or dead) to line it's burrow and provide structural support. Provide rubble to help prevent this.
